Verkhovna Rada MP: UKraine supports any negotiation for peace in Azerbaijan

"We are aware of and follow all the events taking place in Azerbaijan and related to Azerbaijan. It aims to support Azerbaijan at every step," Irina Allakhverdiyeva, a member of the ruling Servant of the People Party of Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), told Report's Eastern Europe bureau.

She noted that last year Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity and any further step taken against the country is a provocation: "Ukraine supports Azerbaijan in the territorial integrity since this issue is also our bleeding wound. I am confident that we will continue to support and assist the Azerbaijani side in the future. I think we are with Azerbaijan in the cessation of hostilities, we are ready for the necessary support."

The MP said that they support any negotiations for the end of hostilities and the establishment of peace in Azerbaijan: "Let the people live without war and the planned new communications open soon."
