US expert: UN Security Council must not fall prey of Armenian disinformation campaign and information warfare against Azerbaijan

The UN Security Council shouldn't succumb to the disinformation campaign and information war by Armenia directed against Azerbaijan, Peter Tase, US political scientist and expert in the field of international relations, told Report.

In his opinion, Armenia seeks to manipulate the international community and convince the UN Security Council to intervene on matters artificially concocted by Yerevan.

"The UN Security Council must not fall prey of Armenian disinformation campaign and information warfare against the Republic of Azerbaijan. The EU and the leadership of UN must conduct a thorough investigation on the weapons’ trafficking and drug trafficking that is currently taking place through the territory of Armenia and must collect intelligence on the security breaches in the region and Europe, due to Yerevan’s corrupt leadership," the expert added.
