US, Chinese, Australian citizens evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan

Several families from the US, China, Australia, and Iran have been evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Foreigners continue to be evacuated through the Astara checkpoint.

Special offices have been set up outside the checkpoint. There, representatives of diplomatic missions from different countries receive their citizens.

Foreign citizens who have traveled a long way and had to wait several hours at the customs post on the Iranian side are provided with medical assistance if necessary.
