Urs Unkauf: Forum at ADA University could become flagship event for entire region

The international forum "Facing a New World Order," held at ADA University, stands as a unique global platform bringing together experts from think tanks, diplomats, academia, and government institutions.

Speaking to Report, Urs Unkauf, Federal Managing Director of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA Global Economic Network), emphasized the significance of the forum as a venue for addressing current global challenges in the context of a transforming world order. He noted that solutions to many of these issues lie in strengthening cooperation rather than engaging in confrontation.

Azerbaijan is making a meaningful contribution to this process by hosting such a conference, he said, expressing confidence that this event has the potential to become a flagship initiative not only for Azerbaijani universities but for the entire region.

Unkauf said the forum can provide strong momentum for discussions on the future and offer concrete proposals for shaping it.

He also extended special gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for taking the time to personally engage with representatives of leading think tanks from around the world for several hours, calling it truly a remarkable event and a clear demonstration of genuine leadership.
