UNDP, Azerbaijan’s Mission to EU discuss mine action

One person is killed or injured every hour by mines, explosive remnants of war and improvised explosive devices, the Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Brussels Office, Camilla Bruckner, said on X, Report informs.

“Pleased to host a discussion with Azerbaijan’s Mission to the EU on mine action in Azerbaijan,” Bruckner said.

On July 4th, the Brussels Diplomatic Academy (BDA) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) hosted the conference themed “Confronting the Landmine Challenge: Environmental Implications and Policy Responses”.
