UN Resident Coordinator: Azerbaijan sets example for other countries in regulating migration

Azerbaijan sets an example for other countries in the regulation of migration processes, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva said at the event “Migrants in Azerbaijan: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion” held in Baku, Report informs.
She noted that Azerbaijan, which is among the first countries to sign the UN Global Compact on Migration in 2018, sets an example for others in the effectiveness of migration work.
Andreeva added that the topic of today’s meeting covers critical issues in the modern world: “International Migrants Day is an important day to talk about the positive contribution of migrants to the countries where they live, as well as the challenges they face.”
