UN official: Impossible to achieve development when conflicts are everywhere

Baku. 5 April. REPORT.AZ/ "It is impossible to achieve development when conflicts are everywhere".
Report informs, President of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly Miroslav Lajčák said at today's Non-Aligned Movement Mid-Term Ministerial Conference in Baku.
According to him, sustainable development will have a positive impact on resolution of conflicts, as well as to ensure investment flows to post-conflict countries.
"Today there is a huge gap between wealthy and poor and people are not called to end the war. Invisible war is going on. We need to unite in order to deal with this problem," Lajčák added.
