UN General Assembly president visiting Azerbaijan

A delegation led by President of the United Nations General Assembly Abdulla Shahid is visiting Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs today.

The delegation led by Abdulla Shahid honored the memory of the heroic sons of Azerbaijan who gave their lives in the struggle for the country's freedom and sovereignty, laid flowers at their graves, and a wreath at the Eternal Torch monument.

Visitors watching the view of the Azerbaijani capital from the highest point of Baku were given detailed information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs and the landscaping work carried out in the city.
