UN General Assembly adopts resolution, sponsored by Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is proud to be the main sponsor of the UNGA Resolution proclaiming 24 June as the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, Report informs, citing Azerbaijani MFA.
"Since independence, ratified almost all intl documents on protection of women's rights and was the 1st Islamic country to grant women equal political rights," MFA tweeted.
