UN deputy secretary-general: Concept of establishing peace must be reconsidered

Deputy Secretary General of the UN, High Representative of the Alliance of Civilizations of the organization Miguel Angel Moratinos considers it necessary to reconsider the concept of establishing peace in the world, Report informs.

He was speaking at the opening of the XI Global Baku Forum on the theme “Fixing the Fractured World.”

He noted that the lack of global peace and weak governance contribute to fragmentation.

The UN representative also congratulated Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev on his re-election as president.
