Ukrainian MP: Azerbaijan should appeal to UN over Armenian attack with use of Iranian drones

All military conflicts are accompanied by sanctions, Yuriy Kamelchuk, a deputy of the ruling People's Servant Party of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine’s parliament), told Report while commenting on Armenia's recent military provocations on the Azerbaijani border.

"The aggressor should be subject to sanctions by the international community,” he noted.

“If it is proven that Armenia used Iranian-made drones during its attack on the territory of Azerbaijan, it should be brought to the attention of the PACE and the UN Security Council, and sanctions should be imposed on the relevant sectors and against the persons responsible for the attack. War crimes must be prevented, and perpetrators must be held accountable and punished,” he stressed.
