The Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan has lowered its national flags and opened a virtual book of condolences in memory of those killed in a missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, according to Report.
"Today, national flags at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan and at Ukrainian diplomatic missions around the world have been lowered in mourning for the victims. [...] Thirty-four people were killed, and another 117 were injured. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims," Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, said in a post on his social media page.
The ambassador noted that the electronic book of condolences would be available on April 14 and April 15. Those wishing to express their sympathies can do so by sending an email to: emb_az@mfa.gov.ua.
