Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan announces competition

The Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan has declared a competition dedicated to the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, Report states, citing the diplomatic mission's Facebook page.

"One hundred years ago, on February 8, 1919, diplomatic relations were established for the first time between the People's Republic of Ukraine and the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan. Years later, after our countries gained independence, they restored diplomatic relations on February 6, 1992.

"In this regard, the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan announces a competition entitled 'Ukraine and Azerbaijan: 102nd anniversary of diplomatic relations'. Azerbaijani and Ukrainian citizens living in Azerbaijan are invited to participate in the contest. The terms are very simple. By February 5, you need to subscribe to the embassy's Facebook page, share a photo symbolizing the brotherhood of Ukraine and Azerbaijan from your archive on Facebook, mention the picture with the hashtag # UkraineAzerbaijan29, and tag the Ukrainian embassy in Azerbaijan.

"Two winners will be selected. The first winner will be the owner of the most exciting and original photo, and the second one will be the owner of the most liked and reposted image.

"The winners will receive beautiful gifts," the embassy said.
