Ukrainian children visit Azerbaijan’s Shaki

Azerbaijan continues the social rehabilitation of children affected by the war in Ukraine, organized by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Northwest Bureau of Report informs.

Ukrainian children have visited the city of Shaki.

In Shaki, they got acquainted with the monuments of history and architecture of world and local significance, visited the Khan’s Palace and the Karvansaray. Children got acquainted with the Shaki cuisine and took part in the process of preparing Shaki halva.

A group of 30 children was brought to Azerbaijan on August 4, placed in camps and involved in various kinds of rehabilitation programs.

The fourteen-day program of social rehabilitation is aimed at stabilizing the emotional state of children and supporting their integration into society.
