Ukraine ambassador thanks Azerbaijan for sending aid to Ukraine

Ukraine is grateful to Azerbaijan for assistance, Ukraine Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi told journalists, commenting on the dispatch of another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

According to the diplomat, as a result of the explosion on the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, a number of cities and towns of Ukraine remained under water, and rescue work is being carried out there today.

"We are very grateful to Azerbaijan for once again feeling your help," the ambassador said, noting that the humanitarian aid sent from Baku today will be delivered to the disaster zone.

In addition, Azerbaijan also provided 20 tons of fuel, which will be used for rescue efforts.

"This is an indicator of friendship between our countries. Glory to Azerbaijan, glory to Ukraine!" Kanevskyi said.
