Turkiye ready to assist in developing agriculture in Karabakh

“Turkiye will do its best for the development of agriculture in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan,” the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkiye, Durali Kocak, said at the regional seminar of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) held in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, Turkiye and FAO jointly implement various projects in fisheries and water resources in the Caucasus and Central Asia: “In addition, Turkiye pays great attention to the protection of the biodiversity of flora and fauna of the region.”

Kochak said that according to the UN, today, approximately 3 billion people do not have proper access to food: “We need to fully cooperate and exchange experience in order to solve these problems.”
