Turkish minister: 'We have reached an agreement with Azerbaijan on transit transportation'

"We have reached an agreement with Azerbaijan on transit transportation," the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkiye, Adil Karaismailoglu, said at a meeting held in Aktau with the participation of Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Turkish, and Georgian representatives, Report informs.
According to him, Turkiye attaches great importance to passenger transportation on the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route: "Attention to our region is growing day in and day out."
The minister also said that the construction of the Nakhchivan-Kars railway will be completed with the opening of the Zangazur corridor: "This will expand the ties between our countries."
