Not everyone can get a gun and kill an employee of an embassy. I believe this is a pre-planned event, Turkish retired general Yucel Karauz said while commenting on the attack on the embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran, Report informs.
“It’s the most important duty for a country to protect the diplomatic corps of another country. Taking into account the current situation in Iran-Azerbaijani relations, the occurrence of such an event cannot be regarded as an ordinary event while this protection needs to be further strengthened,” Karauz said.
According to the general, the Iranian government bears responsibility for this incident.
