Turkish delegation visits Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs

The delegation led by Numan Kurtulmus, first deputy chairman of Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), visited the Alley of Honor on November 21, commemorated Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of Azerbaijan, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath on his grave, Report informs, citing the Turkish media.

The delegation members also visited the Alley of Martyrs and the Turkish Martyrs' Memorial in Baku.

Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Chairman of YAP, Head of the Central Office Tahir Budagov, Ambassador of Turkiye to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci and other officials also participated in the visit.

Later, Kurtulmus told reporters the delegation will participate in the event held on the 30th anniversary of founding the ruling New Azerbaijan Party: "This is an indicator of Turkiye's love, brotherhood, and friendship."
