Turkish defense minister visits Azerbaijani embassy in Ankara

Turkish Minister of National Defense Yasar Guler has visited the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara in connection with the AZAL aircraft crash near Aktau (Kazakhstan), Report informs referring to the Turkish ministry.

Guler, Chief of the Turkish General Staff Metin Gurak, and other officials expressed their condolences to Azerbaijan's Ambassador Rashad Mammadov and the entire Azerbaijani people over the tragic incident.

Guler also left an entry in the book of condolences opened at the embassy.

He expressed support for the government and the people of Azerbaijan.
