The Shusha Declaration is the constitution of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, said on March 18 at the event held at the Absheron House of Culture on the occasion of the 109th anniversary of the Canakkale Victory, Report informs.
He recalled that the Shusha Declaration was signed in the city of Shusha in 2021 with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which brought relations between the two countries to the level of alliance: "The Shusha Declaration is the constitution of Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations. This document is an arrow stuck in the heart of the enemy."
Bagci emphasized that Ankara will further develop its unbreakable brotherhood, solidarity, strong alliance relations, and cooperation with Baku in the future: "We inherited these things from our history. We will continue this cooperation under the leadership of our presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev without any obstacles."
