Transit trade between Azerbaijan and Pakistan being simplified

The Pakistani Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has presented draft rules to facilitate Azerbaijan-Pakistan transit trade under the 2024 agreement, Report informs via PEconomist.
Vehicles registered in Azerbaijan will be allowed to transport cargo to and from Pakistan without financial guarantees.
Thus, regional trade will be promoted through the ports of Karachi, Port Qasim, and Gwadar.
