Tokayev: OTS representative office to open in Kazakhstan

A representative office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be opened in Kazakhstan, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at an informal meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the OTS in the capital of Hungary, Budapest, Report informs.

He noted that the representative office will be opened in the near future.

He added that the simplification of customs procedures is an important issue for strengthening economic ties between the OTS countries: "A new, third railway is opening on the border of Kazakhstan and China. This will further expand our transport capabilities, and all Turkic states will use this railway. By the way, I congratulate the president of Azerbaijan on the role he plays in gas supply to Europe."
