Visa issues between Thailand and Azerbaijan will be simplified, Apirat Sugondhabhirom, Ambassador of Thailand to Azerbaijan and Türkiye, told Report's Ankara office.

The ambassador said that activities for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Thailand are ongoing. This includes the simplification of visa issues for the development of tourism between the two countries: "We will achieve this in the near future. Because the potential for Azerbaijani tourists to travel to Thailand has increased. Our relevant bodies are engaged in solving the visit of Azerbaijani tourists to Thailand, not through Ankara, but by applying for a visa on arrival at the border."
