Tatar: TRNC’s representation in Shusha is very significant and historical

“Our greatest strength is the unity, equality and solidarity of the Turkic world,” President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ersin Tatar said at the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha, Report informs.

Considering the problems that may arise as a result of climate change, the TRNC is ready to provide support to the OTS countries with the emergency mechanism created by the country.

Tatar emphasized that the representation of the TRNC as an integral part of the Turkic world in the ancient city of Shusha is very significant and historic:

“It is of great importance and a historic event. TRNC will become a regional center for civil aviation and a reliable transit country for maritime transport. Our Ministry submitted an application to the OTS Secretariat regarding the Port of Famagusta.”
