Azerbaijan and Armenia agree to put further efforts towards soonest signing of peace treaty, Baku says

On 18 October 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met in Istanbul, on the sidelines of the “3+3” regional consultative platform.

Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry that the parties continued the negotiations on the Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Interstate Relations, and agreed to put further efforts towards its finalisation and conclusion in the shortest possible period.

The parties acknowledged the hospitality of Türkiye, which hosted the ministerial meeting of the 3+3 platform.
