Speaker: I never doubted that Karabakh is Azerbaijan

The Czech Republic has never doubted that Karabakh is Azerbaijan, Chairperson of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Marketa Pekarova Adamova told journalists, according to Report.

"I wanted to say that I never doubted that Karabakh is Azerbaijan," said the speaker of the lower house of the Czech parliament, adding that the Czech Republic supports the integrity and sovereignty of all countries, including in the South Caucasus.

According to her, there is every opportunity to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and establish peace in the region.

"We are confident that now there is a chance to start relations. And we are confident that right now there is a dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which is important for all of us. This is the main interest. A peaceful South Caucasus can be prosperous," she said.
