Sergio Divina highlights thriving cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan

Italy and Azerbaijan have long enjoyed excellent relations at both governmental and legislative levels, according to Sergio Divina, the Vice President of the Italian Institute of Asia (ISIA).

Report quotes Divina highlighted the successful development of bilateral ties in various sectors, including industry, agriculture, and engineering, where Italian and Azerbaijani companies have fostered excellent collaboration. He particularly emphasized the strategic importance of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) for Italy's national energy security.

"I think we will still be side by side, given the developments that the Middle Corridor will have, where we will probably go a long way together both in the planning and in the realization of major works, so Italy and Azerbaijan will go arm in arm, they will still go a long way together," Divina said.
