"I highly appreciate the results of the trilateral meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia," Sergey Markov, director of the Center for Political Studies, told Report.
According to him, a working mechanism for delimitation and demarcation of borders, as well as transport corridors, will be established by the end of the year: "The meeting was held in highly favorable conditions. The decisions of the parties on full compliance with the agreements were reaffirmed."
He believes the good relations between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia on all issues ensure progress: "There are economic interests between the countries like the Zangazur transport corridor, which will stimulate various projects in the future."
According to the Russian expert, President Putin has good connections with the leadership of the European Union, so this encourages the hope that the EU will not use the forthcoming meeting to violate the agreements.
