Sergey Lavrov: Azerbaijan-Russia relations allow for prompt resolution of any issues

Azerbaijan supported Russia's participation in investigating the AZAL aircraft crash in Aktau, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in response to Report's question.

"Azerbaijan and Russia have structured relations that allow for prompt resolution of any issues based on examining all facts... We appreciated that our Azerbaijani friends immediately supported Russia's participation [in the investigation], taking into account all factors," Lavrov added.

He also noted that the Russian side is in close contact with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
