Seismological centers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye mull cooperation issues

On April 6, employees of the Republican Seismic Survey Center (RSSC) of ANAS, visited Türkiye's disaster management authority, AFAD, within the framework of their visit to the country, Report informs.

The delegation led by the Director-General of the RSSC, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli, met with the Head of the Earthquake Department of AFAD, Professor Orhan Tatar.

The meeting discussed the cooperation between the seismological centers of the two brotherly countries, the devastating earthquake that occurred in the brotherly country on February 6 of this year and its consequences, as well as geophysical-seismic research to be conducted by Azerbaijani seismologists in the earthquake zone.

After the discussions, Azerbaijani seismologists left for the earthquake zone.
