At the May 14 meeting in Brussels between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the European Council Charles Michel, satisfaction was expressed with the resumption of the Brussels format, which serves to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report's correspondent in Brussels said.
At the meeting, the head of state expressed gratitude to the President of the European Council for the invitation to Brussels.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the resumption of the Brussels format for the process of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. President Ilham Aliyev thanked Charles Michel for the efforts made in this direction.
During the conversation, Ilham Aliyev and Charles Michel discussed the recent months’ events related to Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, the Washington talks, and the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, as well as the agenda of the upcoming trilateral meeting on May 14 with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President of the European Council Charles Michel and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
