Samir Sharifov: US-Azerbaijan bilateral relations strengthening every day

Bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States of America are strengthening every day, Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at an event dedicated to the 247th anniversary of US independence in Baku, Report informs.

The minister noted that last year Azerbaijan and the United States celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations: "Over these 30 years, relations between the countries were based on mutual interests and equal rights."

Sharifov recalled that US President Joe Biden, in his congratulatory letter on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day, had stressed that he supports the strategic partnership between the two countries and that peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia will ensure stability in the entire region.
