Double standards destroy Europe itself first, the Chairman of the International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samad Seyidov, said at a plenary sitting Tuesday, Report informs.

"Unfortunately, double standards destroy Europe itself first. The European Union sends its commissioner here and a high-level meeting is held. The role of Azerbaijan is emphasized at the highest level. The parliamentary body of the same organization made an unfair, biased, false and slanderous decision against Azerbaijan a day ago."

According to him, all such cases indicate that there is a big crisis in Europe, and this is a crisis of double standards.

"From this point of view, expanding the geography of Azerbaijan's foreign policy is the most important issue. Because today, Azerbaijan has a voice in many prestigious international organizations, has become a bridge between the East and the West, and is presented as a high-level country," Seyidov said.
