Russian FM: “Steps should be taken to stabilize situation on Azerbaijani-Armenian border”

"Steps should be taken to stabilize the situation on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, which is currently being dealt with by the Russian president and relevant agencies," Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a weekly briefing, the Russian bureau of Report says.
The Russian official noted that their mediation mission is aimed at establishing peace in the region.
“Each side has its own interests. Some of them contradict our opinion on the development of the situation, and some agree. At present, we are making efforts to prevent the situation from escalating further and to move towards a peaceful course."
