Those who incite separatism in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan understand the futility of their actions and realize that Azerbaijan will not give up its firm position to prevent the slightest manifestation of separatism on its territory. And, as a result, they are leaving Garabagh, Fuad Huseynaliyev, director of the Report News Agency, said on the air of the CBC TV channel.
“Armenia’s recent attempt to denigrate Azerbaijan was made at the UN Security Council, but it turned out to be unsuccessful. Armenia, having raised the issue of the ‘blockade’ of the Lachin road at such a high international level, didn’t achieve the expected result. On the other hand, Azerbaijan has repeatedly proposed to use the Aghdam-Khankandi road for the supply of residents of the Garabagh region. I am sure that in the near future this road will be used for people who are ready to accept the Azerbaijani laws and live according to them,” he said.
Huseynaliyev stressed that for those who support separatism in the territory of Azerbaijan and don’t want to live according to the laws of the country, there is only one way out - to leave.
“The video footage makes it clear that people are leaving without the intention to return, having collected all their belongings. They probably realize that in this country there are no prerequisites for their insinuations. Perhaps some part of the population participated in war crimes against Azerbaijan, although we know that Azerbaijani government agencies have long identified such criminals and have them in their database. But there may be those who were not participants in the genocide against Azerbaijanis, but took part in hostilities,” he added.
According to Huseynaliyev, as it turned out, many of those leaving are the holders of Russian passports. This means that the Russian peacekeepers were not engaged in quite the tasks that were assigned to them. However, plans to create the so-called ‘Russian world’ in this territory of Azerbaijan have obviously failed.
