Ravan Hasanov: Azerbaijan to produce films on Islamophobia

Films the topic of Islamophobia will be produced in Azerbaijan, Ravan Hasanov, Executive Director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center, said at a press conference ahead of the event on the topic of "Islamophobia: Exposing Prejudice and Destroying Stigmas," Report informs.

He noted that each of these films will be presented to international organizations: "Books that are published every year are also submitted to many specialized centers to raise awareness."

Hasanov added that 60-70% of the participants who will attend the event on Islamophobia are not from Muslim countries: "The conference will be attended by representatives of not only the Islamic-Muslim community, but also other religious faiths, such as Christianity, Judaism and others. This is not a religious, but a scientific conference, and its goal is to eliminate pressure on religion."
