Putin: Trade turnover between CIS countries nears $81.5B

Holding the informal summit of the CIS in friendly conditions indicates the intention of the member countries to develop cooperation further, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the opening of the informal summit of CIS heads of state, Report informs.
He said that the trade turnover between Russia and the CIS countries may reach $100 billion by the end of 2022.
Putin noted that the indicator is already $81.5 billion stressing they have achieved this in a difficult situation in the world.
According to Putin, external challenges are increasing every year.
“There are differences of opinion among the countries of the organization. But as a result of joint efforts, they are eliminated,” the Russian President said.
