Presidential aide: Claims of ethnic Azerbaijanis being deployed in Iran as agents are absurd

In recent days, some media and social networks have been spreading completely unfounded and false information about Azerbaijan, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev wrote on X, Report informs.
"Certain media and social media accounts have recently circulated entirely unfounded and fabricated claims suggesting that as if Azerbaijan has recruited ethnic Azerbaijanis as agents and deployed them into Iran on behalf of Israel. These kinds of absurd and fantasy-driven allegations have no connection to reality and constitute nothing more than deliberate disinformation. We categorically reject such fake news and baseless accusations," Hajiyev wrote.
