President: Relations between Azerbaijan and China develop very successfully

Azerbaijan considers relations with China as relations of strategic importance, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting with participants of the international conference 'South Caucasus: Development and Cooperation,' Report informs.

"I am very glad that these relations develop very successfully," the head of state said.

According to him, to illustrate the relations between the two countries, it is enough to quote Mr.Xi Jinping, 'who called me a big friend of China.'

"At the same time, he is a very good friend of Azerbaijan," the head of state said.

President Ilham Aliyev also reminded that he was among a limited number of world leaders who were invited to the 'One Belt, One Road' conference in 2019.
