President of Latvia congratulates Ilham Aliyev

President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics has sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the elections, Report informs referring to the press service of the head of state.

"Your Excellency,

Please accept my sincere congratulations on your re-election as the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Let me express my confidence that by our joint efforts the good and constructive relations berween Latvia and Azerbaijan will continue to flourish both bilaerally and within multilateral frameworks. I am convinced that further development of our well-established dialogue will benefit the long-term interests of both our countries and people.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration along with the wishes of good health, strength and success in fulfilling your esteemed duties, as well as peace and prosperity to your country and its people," reads the letter.
