President Ilham Aliyev: I was deeply saddened by the fire at the Notre-Dame Cathedral

 “I was deeply saddened by the fire at the Notre-Dame Cathedral-one of the gems of the cultural heritage of France and the world,” President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has posted on his Twitter account, Report informs citing AzerTag.

“I hope the monument will soon be restored and returned to the mankind,” the head of state twitted.

Je suis profondément attristé par l'incendie de la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, l`une des oeuvres du patrimoine culturel de la France et du monde. J’espère que le monument sera bientôt restauré et rendu à l’humanité.
