President Ilham Aliyev embarks on official visit to Russia

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Russia at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Report informs.

A guard of honor was lined up for President Ilham Aliyev at Vnukovo-2 International Airport, where the national flags of both countries were waved.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and other officials.

The head of the guard of honor reported to the head of state, and the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Russia were sounded.
