President Ilham Aliyev congratulates Emir of Qatar

Baku. 18 December. REPORT.AZ/ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulations to the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to Report, the congratulatory letter reads:

"Your Highness,

"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and all the people of your country on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.

"I believe that the ties of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar will always develop to the benefit of our peoples.

"On this festive day, I wish you the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Qatar peace and prosperity."

The head of state also sent a letter of congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar

The letter reads:

"Your Highness,

"I sincerely congratulate you and the people of your country on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.

"On this remarkable day, I wish you the best of health and happiness, and the brotherly people of Qatar everlasting peace and prosperity."
