President: Azerbaijani gas will be transported to three Balkan states via Ionic-Adriatic pipeline

After the start of the Ukraine-Russia war, the issue of natural gas has become one of the main issues on Europe's agenda, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said during the 48th edition of the international Cernobbio Forum, according to Report.
"There are many projects, one of which is the Greece-Bulgaria Interconnector, which is nearing completion. Another similar project is the Ionian-Adriatic pipeline. Azerbaijani gas will be transported through this pipeline to three Balkan countries," the head of state said.
