Political expert: US president's congratulation reflects spirit of relations with Azerbaijan

US President Joseph Biden's congratulatory message to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev fully reflects the spirit of bilateral relations, political expert Tofig Abbasov told Report.

"The congratulation fully reflects the spirit of bilateral relations, and the efforts of President Aliyev to stabilize many processes are also given due," he said, adding that Azerbaijan demonstrates very enviable maneuverability in solving regional problems, as well as in contributing to the development of global stability and peace.

Thus, according to him, Azerbaijan has always helped in the implementation of peacekeeping missions, and that is why the country's position is clear and is perceived with great approval by all the leading world players.

"In post-war realities, we are ready even to lend a hand to Armenia, which for almost 30 years kept the whole region in suspense and undermined the negotiations. Azerbaijan put everything in its place, so now all issues of both regional cooperation and integration are controlled by Baku."

He noted that the United States appreciates the high potential of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"Recently, Azerbaijan and the United States celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, which are fully productive. Both Baku and Washington are determined to continue cooperating both in the region and on the bilateral arena," Tofig Abbasov concluded.
