Political consultations held between MFAs of Azerbaijan and Colombia

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov visited the Republic of Colombia, Report informs citing MFA.

During the visit on December 6, Mammadov was received by Colombian Foreign Minister Alvaro Duran.

Another round of political consultations also took place between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia. Political consultations were held by Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Colombia Francisco Coy.

During the consultations, the current state of bilateral relations, the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic and energy spheres, humanitarian demining, tourism, culture, education and other areas were discussed.

Mamedov informed his counterpart in detail about Azerbaijan’s peace agenda, the process of normalizing relations with Armenia, as well as large-scale reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
