Polad Bulbuloglu: No deep contradictions in Azerbaijan-Russia relations

There are no deep contradictions in the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, the countries are actively cooperating, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moscow Polad Bulbuloglu said in an interview with TASS in anticipation of the visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to Baku, Report informs.

"Of course, I am glad that today the relations between Russia and Azerbaijan are at a very high level of allied interaction. We are working very actively, and there are no deep contradictions between our countries today," he noted.

The ambassador emphasized that Moscow and Baku are openly and amicably discussing all problematic issues.

"Just like in any home, any family and any relationship, there are some disagreements - life is life. But the most important thing is that today we have developed such relations that we can openly, in a friendly and very benevolent manner, discuss emerging problems.

Active political consultations are underway between the foreign ministries of the two countries. The intergovernmental commission, headed on the Russian side by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk, and on the Azerbaijani side by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, is working very fruitfully. The last meeting took place quite recently in Baku - on August 9," the diplomat added.
