Pashinyan called Armenia and Azerbaijan’s mutual recognition of each other's territorial integrity in Brussels an important step. At a government meeting, he said that in the Belgian capital, the two countries agreed on the size of each other’s territory; Baku recognized Armenia’s 29,800 sq. km, and Yerevan recognized Azerbaijan’s 86,600 sq. km.
According to him, this will make it possible to establish stability in the region and finalize the text of the peace treaty. The next step should be to identify the legal basis for the formation of a delimitation commission.
