Parliament Speaker: 'We hope that the return of Lachin under Azerbaijan's control will contribute to peace in the region'

Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Mustafa Sentop expressed his opinion on the return of Lachin city, Zabukh and Sus villages under the control of Azerbaijan, according to Report.

"We welcome the return of Lachin city and 2 surrounding villages to Azerbaijan in accordance with the tripartite statement dated November 9, 2020. We hope that this will influence the establishment of peace and stability in the South Caucasus and the normalization process in the region," Mustafa Sentop said.
